Adriano Montalto’s second experience at Reggina is already over. With a meager statement the club announced the consensual termination with the player. An epilogue that had been in the air for a couple of days and which has finally arrived. There is no official position on the reasons for the end of the relationship, but the circumstances suggest a break between the company and the interested party.
A situation that in fact goes beyond the pitch, considering that the player had been started by Torrisi in the first two matches of his management and appeared to be improving. Montalto finished with 7 appearances, just 1 goal and a red card which earned him a three-match suspension. More was certainly expected from him, but it is probable that with another type of team his performance would also have been better.
For Reggina, the idea of already saying goodbye to one of the most important signings of the summer transfer market is not a great sign, but it was a known fact that this was a complicated phase.
