Reggio, S3 volleyball brings sport and smiles to Pala Calafiore: Lucchetta and Vermiglio will be there

Last appointment of 2025 for Volley S3 which will touch Reggio Calabria on Thursday. Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast, the event will take place indoors, at the PalaCalafiore, to guarantee the full safety and enjoyment of the young participants, protecting them from the elements: thus one of the most iconic and capacious arenas in southern Italy will be the setting for the closing of the Tour della Schiacciata 2025.

MORNING – 09.30-12.30 space for schools (at 11.30 institutional greetings)

AFTERNOON – 14-30-17 space for sports clubs

After Mantua, Campobasso, Parma and Caserta, the great youth volleyball festival promoted by the Italian Volleyball Federation moves to Calabria with the aim of bringing kids ever closer to volleyball. The event will involve hundreds of students and young athletes in a day entirely dedicated to sport, sociality and the educational values ​​that are the basis of the Volley S3 project.

The morning will be dedicated to primary and secondary school students, while in the afternoon young people from local sports clubs will take to the field. There will be Sitting Volley S3, the activity that allows everyone, without distinction, to share the same gaming experience, confirming the inclusive and educational vocation of the project.

The contagious enthusiasm of Volley S3 will arrive in Reggio Calabria with Andrea Lucchetta, master smart coach and one of the creators of Volley S3, and with Valerio Vermiglio, European champion with the national team and testimonial of the initiative, who will liven up the day with games, courses and physical activities designed to encourage inclusion and participation with the support of the smart coaches of Fipav Reggio Calabria.

The 2025 circuit of the Tour della Schiacciata benefits from the support of important partners: ESA with the IRIDE Project, MASAF – ISMEA, EBRI, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Campagna Amica (Coldiretti), Susan G. Komen Italia, Decathlon and Rai Kids.
