Reggio, the ship Dattilo arrived at the port with 454 migrants on board. Here’s where they will be placed

The coast guard ship Dattilo, which set sail yesterday from Porto Empedocle (Agrigento) with 454 migrants on board, has arrived at the port of Reggio Calabria. The disembarkation is underway on the western pier where the reception procedures are coordinated by the prefecture of Reggio Calabria. Of the migrants who arrived, 111 will be transferred to the first reception center of Ardore while the rest will be placed in the reception center set up in Gallico, in the municipality of Reggio Calabria, inside the Boccioni school gym waiting to be transferred later, on the basis of the division established by the Ministry of the Interior, after the identification and photo-signaling procedures. The migrants are of sub-Saharan and Tunisian nationality.
