Tragedy this afternoon at the “Tito Minniti” airport in Reggio Calabria. A woman died just as she was boarding a flight to RomeThe departure was scheduled for 3:15 pm, but it is understood that the lady felt ill while she was already on board the plane and the flight was temporarily suspended.
The rescue machine was immediate: both the 118 paramedics and the airport police arrived on the runway, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the woman. The passengers of the flight were made to disembark and are now waiting for a new flight to be arranged (but probably not before 9:15 pm this evening)
