Tomorrow, at 10 am, in the council room in Piazza Matteotti, a new official meeting of the Rende municipal council will be held. An appointment that marks the concrete start of the new administrative phase and which is particularly dense, both for the quantity of topics under discussion and for their political and social weight.
The assembly will be called to examine a series of regulatory changes regarding the revenue system, the single property fee and the board meeting procedures. Also on the agenda is the approval of the regulation establishing the figure of the Guarantor for people with disabilities, a long-awaited step and considered an important step in the path towards greater protection of rights and accessibility. Furthermore, on the table is the proclamation of Rende as “Civitas Mariae”, a symbolic act that intends to recognize and enhance the city’s historic devotion towards the Holy Mary of Constantinople.
