A total of five lists have been filed for the elections for the renewal of the Catanzaro Provincial Council, elections scheduled for March 28th. At the deadline for the presentation of lists and candidates, scheduled for midday today, the center-right presented four lists attributable to the classic parties of the coalition although with civic symbols: the “Province at the center” for Forza Italia, “Vento da Sud” for Fratelli d’Italia, “La Provincia ci binds” for the League and “Provincia Moderata” for Noi Moderati. Single and unitary list instead for the centre-left, which presented the aggregation “Progressives for the Province”, the result of the agreement between Pd, M5S, Avs, Psi, Casa Riformista, Rifondazione Comunista, Cambiavento. The elections for the renewal of the Provincial Council are obviously of second degree, in the sense that they are reserved both as an active electorate and as a passive electorate only to mayors and administrators of the 80 Municipalities of the province: the election of the president of the body is instead scheduled for autumn, in any case before the end of the year.
