Construction workers, railway workers, nursery and nursery school teachers and nurses working on shifts: these are some of the categories of workers excluded from the increase in the requirements for access to retirement which will start in 2027.

According to the maneuver arriving in Parliament, in 2027 there will be an increase of one month for which one will be able to retire at 67 years and one month and early retirement with 42 years and 11 months of contributions in addition to the sliding window (one year less for women) and in 2028 by a further two months for which one will be able to retire at 67 years and three months and early with 43 years and one month of contributions. Workers working at night will also be excluded from the increase in requirements. The excluded categories also concern the drivers of heavy vehicles, those employed in the personal care of people in conditions of non-self-sufficiency, porters, ecological operators, agricultural workers, steel workers and workers engaged in particularly demanding tasks. The right to early pension treatment can be exercised if the workers carry out these activities for a period of time equal to at least seven years, including the year in which the requirements were met, in the last ten years of activity or at least six years in the last seven.
