The holiday of two Italians who lost their lives in a car accident on the Kenya coast, while four other compatriots were hospitalized were transformed into a tragedy. They spent their dream holidays in one of the most exclusive resorts of the Kenyan tourist resort of Diani Beach, one of the African destinations renowned for its white beaches and the crystal clear sea, half an hour from the coastal city of Mombasa, where Charter flights directed by Italy land.

The two Italians who died are Marco Curcio, from Milan, and Karen de Mozzi, residing in Albiano (Trento). According to what is learned from qualified sources, Curcio would have died instantly while four other compatriots were instead transported to the Mombasa hospital, where De Mozzi died later.

The Italians traveled with an Italian tour operator, who commissioned his representatives in Kenya to assist the 4 injured hospitalized in two different hospitals.

The console in Mombasa, the consular agent in Diani and the staff of the embassy in Nairobi have already arrived or are coming to the accident site and in the hospitals where the wounded are hospitalized. The Embassy of Italy has activated itself with the local authorities to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
