Four months later, another tragedy has struck the Cavò family. Last June, his nephew Gabriele Cavò lost his life in a car accident in Messina at just 17 years old. He was riding his scooter along Via Garibaldi in a southerly direction when, near Via Cicala, he collided with a Smart car in which a couple of boys were travelling. The impact was fatal.
Today aunt Mariarosa Cavò lost her life in an independent accident, on the journey from Pace center to State Road 113, more precisely in via Pirandello. For reasons yet to be ascertained, the woman who lost control of the car violently crashed into a railing at the edge of a sidewalk, and then fell to the ground below the street. A sad fate that unites aunt and nephew today.
