Honorary citizenship was conferred on Roby Facchinetti, this afternoon in Pizzo. It took place this afternoon during the city council, at the end of a day full of emotions and meanings: in the morning, the artist met the boys of the cooperative “La Voce del Silenzio” led by the psychiatrist Francesco La Torre. To accompany him, in what was a day of emotions and special meetings, the mayor Sergio Pititto.
Facchinetti, is decidedly famous, being an iconic figure of Italian music, but honor, today has also assumed the value of testimony of his human sensitivity and social commitment. “Honorary citizenship – explained Pititto during the meeting – also wants to be a gesture of gratitude towards a man and an artist, who has been able to combine artistic talent and attention to neighbor”.
