Roland Garros, the Italian Jasmine Paolini dominates the Russian Andreeva: she is in the final

The tale of Jasmine Paolini she doesn't stop anymore: the 28 year old Tuscan dominated in the semi-final at Roland Garros the 17 year old Russian Mirra Andreeva 6-3 6-1, reaching a slam final for the first time. He will face it Iga Swiatek, against which he has always lost so far. Paolini is the first Italian since 2012, the fifth overall, to reach this milestone, when Sara Errani was defeated by Maria Sharapova.

“I was nervous in the first set, then ball after ball I relaxed. It was hard but I'm happy to have won”, says the Italian who becomes the n.7 in the world. “In Madrid he beat me when I was 5-2 in the first set and then I lost. Today I wanted to do better, hit the ball and have fun and it worked. Dreaming is important and today I don't know what to say”, she continues very excited.
