Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the Progress Space Missile Center in Samara and Savasleyka Airport in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says so on social media.
«Today we achieved significant new results from our deep attacks. In the Samara region, Russia, one of the main centers of Roscosmos was hit: the Progress center, particularly involved in the production of electronic components”, declared Zelensky, according to whom Flamingo missiles were used in the attacks. The distance of the target hit from the Ukrainian border is approximately 900 kilometres, the Kiev media explain.
