Four aircraft based (2 in Lamezia Terme and 2 in Reggio Calabria) – for a total investment of 400 million dollars in the Region – 3.2 million annual passengers (+14%) between Lamezia, Reggio and Crotone and 42 routes, including 5 new destinations from Lamezia to Bratislava, Budapest, Saarbrücken, Sofia and Warsaw.
This is Ryanair’s “largest summer operation ever for Calabria”, “which follows the significant investment made in the Region after the abolition of the municipal surtax by President Occhiuto”. Ryanair’s continued growth will support over 2,500 local jobs and contribute to economic development and tourism of Calabria, enhancing connectivity throughout the year and offering lower rates to citizens and visitors”.
