It is raining millions for interventions aimed at making roads and public buildings in the area safe. The resources are those transferred by the Ministry of the Interior in agreement with the Ministry of Economy on the basis of the requests presented by the local administrations by last September. In particular, just over 19.7 million euros in total were allocated to the Nebroid Tyrrhenian area for the financing of 19 interventions promoted by 14 hinterland municipalities. In detail, Acquedolci benefited from funds for three projects, the extraordinary maintenance of via San Fratello, Gaggini and the connection via Bonifacio (1,375,400 euros), extraordinary maintenance and safety of the Carrubba district road (604,600 euros) and maintenance of the arteries connecting with the Ss 113 in the Corvo district (520,000 euros).
Three municipalities obtained funding for two interventions: Gioiosa Marea, improvement of the Villa Ridente – Galbato municipal road (1,250,000 euros) and safety of the road in the Gioiosa Guardia area, in the sections Bivio Rupe – Gioiosa Guardia and Gioiosa Guardia – Chiesa San Francesco (1,250,000 euros); Capo d’Orlando, safety and efficiency works for the municipal building and the school buildings in via Vittorio Emanuele, via Piave, via Del Fanciullo, via Roma and the Furriolo district (1,205,000 euros) and extraordinary maintenance and efficiency improvement of the carabinieri barracks in the Santa Lucia district (1,250,000 euros); Sant’Agata Militello, consolidation of the landslide road in the Serra Bernardo district (1,870,000 euros) and safety measures in the Pileci area (695,946 euros).
