AfterUS military intervention in Iran In Rome, the meetings of the house, the Strategic Anti -terrorism analysis committee, and of the National Order and Public Security Committee, were convened. Here’s how they work:
– Strategic anti -terrorism analysis committee (home): is a permanent table between judicial police and intelligence services for the sharing and evaluation of information relating to the internal and international terrorist threat. Normally he meets a weekly basis and is chaired by the central director of the State Police Prevention Police. Officials of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, a penitentiary police manager and, for security services, representatives of the disqualities and of the aise, participate.
The house has been active since 2004 as part of the National Plan for the management of terrorist events and represents support for the crisis unit of the Ministry of the Interior, the control room for the management of terrorist emergencies on the national territory.
– National Order and Public Security Committee: composed of the leaders of the police but with a format that can be extended to intelligence and defense, it is an auxiliary body of the consultancy of the Minister of the Interior. The Committee examines issues relating to the protection of the order and public security and the ordering and organization of the police forces.
The Committee is chaired by the Minister of the Interior and is made up of an Undersecretary with the functions of Vice President, the Chief of Police, the General Commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza and the Director of the Department of the Prison Administration.
