On Friday 9 May at 17.30, in San Fratello (ME), in via Serpi, near the municipality and under the Carabinieri barracks, a mural, the work of the Sicilian artist from Ligama, depicting Bettino Craxi, will be discovered. The inauguration will take place in the presence of Stefania Craxi, Senator of Forza Italia and president of the Foreign Affairs Commission and Defense at Palazzo Madama. “The mural gives us an image of Craxi who looks to Italy from the Tunisian exile, with all the political and human meaning that this entailed for him and for the country. I am happy – says Stefania Craxi – that this work was made in San Brother, the place of the origins of my father’s family; the murals has an important symbolic value, precisely in the light of the deep bond that he had with Sicily”.
