The exhortation to colleagues came last Sunday from the mayor of Taormina, Cateno De Luca, to ensure that the territory presents itself united at the table that will decide the fate of the current railway line.
Yesterday evening, the draft of the document was drawn up which will be presented on 11 December to the extraordinary commissioner for the Catania-Messina railway, Filippo Palazzo, in the meeting called upon input from the general manager of the regional Infrastructure, Mobility and Transport department, Salvatore Lizzio, after the letter sent on 25 November by nine mayors.
