The situation at the Sant’Agata Militello hospital remains critical, still awaiting solutions that effectively allow the full functionality of departments that have been at a standstill for some time to be restored.
If the emergency room is managing to somehow ensure its essential assistance activity in the vast reference area, with the addition of doctors to cover shifts for a couple of months thanks to the agreement stipulated by the ASP in extension of the contract with the cooperative that manages the emergency department at the Barcelona hospital, for other important departments a worrying stalemate remains.
