“Cerberus” – in short, the system, active since July, of cameras placed at the city’s entrance gates for the automated detection of infringements relating to insurance and vehicle inspections – at the center of a question filed by city councilor Daniele Siclari.
The exponent of the minority, as well as the citizen coordinator of Forza Italia in Villa, in fact intervened to obtain information from the mayor Giusy Caminiti and the executive regarding the functioning of “Cerberus”. The initiative was born after the verification of documents inherent to the system: according to Siclari there would be possible illegitimacy of the fines issued since its entry into force.
