A serious road accident occurred this afternoon in Gizzeria on the SS18. At approximately 4.20pm the firefighters of Lamezia Terme intervened following the accident which four vehicles were involved: a Citroen Jumper van used for the transport of medical oxygen cylinders, a Mercedes A180, a Lancia Y and a FIAT Doblò. FThe driver of the Doblò was killed and stuck in the passenger compartmentwas extracted by the firefighters and entrusted to the healthcare staff of Suem118 for the necessary treatment and subsequent transfer to hospital
