Fourteen migrants lost their lives after the boat they were traveling on capsized off the coast of Bodrum, a town in Turkey on the Aegean Sea overlooking the Greek island of Kos.

The local media reported it, adding that the Ankara coast guard managed to save two of the migrants who were on the boat, which capsized shortly after leaving the Turkish coast. The report to the Coast Guard came after one of the migrants, an Afghan citizen, managed to swim to the shore and alerted the authorities.
