Today the third season of Nebrodi Tour kicks off, the television format created and hosted by Antonio Puglisi dedicated to promoting the villages, traditions and excellence of the Nebrodi territory. The appointment is on RTP at 12.55pm and 3.15pm, with a repeat on Sunday at the same time, with a new cycle of episodes that will accompany viewers on the discovery of places rich in history, culture, landscapes and authentic flavours.

The inaugural episode will be dedicated to the municipality of Capri Leone, a village that in recent years has been able to relaunch itself thanks to an important urban redevelopment process, becoming an example of recovery and valorization of the historical and landscape heritage. Ample space will be dedicated to one of the most evocative traditions of the hamlet of Rocca: every day, at the stroke of midday, the statue of the Madonna performs a complete rotation of 360 degrees to the tune of the Ave Maria performed by Andrea Bocelli, a moment of intense spirituality that attracts visitors and faithful, transforming itself into an identifying symbol of the community. As per tradition, Nebrodi Tour will also showcase the excellence of hospitality and gastronomy. The cameras will in fact enter one of the most renowned restaurants in Sicily, located right in Capri Leone, to show the philosophy of the cuisine, the quality of the raw materials and a dish that represents the territory.

The new season confirms the formula that has made the program successful: a journey through history, art, popular traditions, nature, religious tourism, food and wine and stories of local communities, with the aim of promoting the lesser-known beauties of Sicily and offering viewers an authentic experience, far from the most beaten itineraries. After the success of the first two editions, Nebrodi Tour returns with new destinations and new stories, keeping at the center the desire to enhance the material and immaterial heritage of the territories through images, testimonies and stories capable of highlighting the most authentic identity of the Nebrodi.
