Sicily returns navel of the great cinema, Chris Nolan and a stellar cast will land in the Aeolian to turn “the Odyssey”

Hollywood lights the spotlight on the Aeolian Islands, transforming them into the heart of a new Kolossal. After Indiana Jones, another great film production arrives in Sicily: the Odyssey, the new Oscar -winning film Christopher Nolanproduced by Universal Pictures.

With a budget of 250 million dollars – twice and a half times higher than that of Oppenheimer – the film will see fifty days of filming between the Egadi and the Aeolian Islands
. The islands of Lipari and Vulcano will be among the main sets, with four hundred rooms already booked and an estimated economic impact of at least ten million euros.
In the stellar cast, Matt Damon will play the role of Ulysses, flanked by Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway and Lupita Nyong’o.
