The checks paid to families in the first two months of 2026 amount to 3.3 billion euros. The figure recorded for the whole of 2025 stands at 19.8 billion. These are the data that emerge in the update of the statistical observatory on the Single Universal Allowance (AUU) published today with reference to the period January 2025 – February 2026.
In the month of February 2026 alone, 5.95 million families received the check. Out of a total of 9.38 million children, the average amount per child is 178 euros, including increases.
The fluctuation goes from around 59 euros, for those who do not present an ISEE or exceed the maximum threshold (which for 2026 is equal to 46,582.71 euros), to 227 euros for the minimum ISEE class (17,468.51 euros for 2026).
