Over 13.5 million euros were provided by Arcea to Calabrian farmers as part of the Single Application – 2025 campaign and the PNRR tender for the modernization of oil mills.
This was communicated by the Councilor for Agriculture of the Calabria Region, Gianluca Gallo, specifying that 12,069,566.59 euros were paid through the Single Application, while 1,540,475.62 euros concern the tender dedicated to the modernization of the oil mills.
In relation to the 2025 Single Application campaign, with list number 5, numerous payment applications were financed which had previously been suspended pending validation of the Plts, i.e. the surfaces affected by traditional local practices.
On the other hand, fourteen applications were financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which supports interventions aimed at improving the sustainability, efficiency and quality of oil mills. The tender, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the olive supply chain and improving the quality of extra virgin olive oil, also provides for the reduction of waste and is intended for agricultural companies, agro-industrial companies, associations and cooperatives that own oil mills in Calabria.
Today’s liquidation adds to those already started by Arcea, confirming Calabria among the most active regions in the implementation of this Pnrr investment.
