Not just a music festival, but a cultural journey through some of the most representative places in Calabria. The XVI edition of the Mediterranean Festival was presented at the Soqquadro Beach Music in Cetraro, in the presence of the mayors of Cetraro and Fuscaldo, Giuseppe Aieta and Giacomo Middea, the artistic director Filippo Arlia, the director of the Festival delle Alici del Tirreno Cosentino and the Festival del Gambero Rosso di Cetraro Antonio Spaccarotella and the director of the “S. Arlia” state conservatory, Valentina Currenti.
Also for 2026 the event confirms its itinerant vocation, bringing music and entertainment to the castles, archaeological parks, villages and tourist ports of the region.
From Pizzo to Cetraro, the scheduled appointments
The Festival will start on July 16th from the Pizzo Castle with the Notte del Mare, which will see Nina Zilli, Fabio Concato, Michele Bravi and Karima as protagonists. On 26 July, at the Capocolonna archaeological park, space for the Noche de Tango, homage to Astor Piazzolla with the Calabria Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Filippo Arlia.
On 30 July the event will stop in Fuscaldo, as part of the Festival delle Alici programme, while on 1 August Morricone Pop Star will be staged at the Sibari archaeological park, directed by Giuseppe Blefari, with the Calabria Philharmonic Orchestra and the Magna Graecia university choir.
The final part of the Festival will be hosted in Cetraro, where Raphael Gualazzi’s concert is scheduled at Palazzo del Trono, before the final evening at the tourist port with the Game Show.
