A dream come true for a young Calabrian talent. Ferdinando Torchia, a promising 9-year-old driver originally from Lamezia Terme, has conquered the top of the Iame Series Racing Formula Italy Championship – Under 10 Category, at the end of an intense and hard-fought season.
The path to victory was not simple: six rounds distributed between Lonato, Cremona and Franciacorta, tracks known for their high competitive level, put the young man from Lamezia to the test. On the track he faced riders from all over the world, but his clarity and spirit of sacrifice took him straight to the top step of the podium, fulfilling a dream.
Every victory has a story behind it, and Ferdinando’s, which began at the age of three, tells of dedication, of kilometers logged on the track, of waking up at dawn, of weekends away from home and a lot of team work. Ferdinando’s success is also the result of an environment that has always believed in his abilities, supporting him with passion. Fundamental in this journey was the support of the Tellone Motorsport Team and Coach Driver Manuel Scognamiglio who believed in him from day one. A team that has become a second family for Ferdinando, ready to guide him, support him and accompany him on his path to success.
The victory in the Iame Series Racing Formula Italy Championship represents an important recognition, made even more extraordinary by the young age of the Calabrian driver, which demonstrates how talent, if cultivated with commitment and sacrifice, can really take you far. This victory is a source of pride for Lamezia Terme and for all of Calabria, which today applauds a young champion. Well done Ferdinando, keep running, but above all… keep dreaming.
