In the morning of 9 June, a Spilinger (VV), the carabinieri of the Radiomobile rate of the Operational Unit and Radiomobile of the Compagnia di Tropea have A 68 -year -old man referred to in a state of freedomresiding in the same municipality, married, farmer, already known to the police.
The subject was caught in the act while setting the fire to a pile of brushwood positioned along the edge of an interpoderal road. The fire was promptly tamed by the soldiers who intervened, using makeshift means. Thanks to the timely intervention, no damage to people or things were recorded.
The facts were reported to the Public Prosecutor of Vibo Valentia, led by the prosecutor Camillo Falvo, who assumed the direction of the investigations.
