Signed this morning at the headquarters of SAS, Auxiliary Services Sicily, in Piazza Castelnuovo in Palermo, in the presence of the President of the Region Renato Schifani, the first of the 275 permanent employment contracts envisaged by the economic-financial plan and the hiring plan of the regional subsidiary, as established by the council in recent days. Also present was the president of SAS, Alessandro Virgara.
Throughout the day, the 120 who will be on duty in the provinces of Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Catania, Trapani, Messina and Ragusa will sign. The calls for the signing of contracts will continue tomorrow and Wednesday for those who will be working in the province of Palermo. The ASU workers will be placed in the assistants’ area and will be divided as follows: 237 in the Cultural Heritage Department, 10 in the Infrastructure Department, 8 in the Regional Technical Department. Added to these are the 20 former Servirail and Ferrotel workers, also in the assistants’ area. Upon completion of the stabilizations, Sas will have 3,685 employees employed in various types of administration services. Furthermore, the 1,826 workers in the former Pip basin, awaiting the increase to 25 hours per week, will be summoned starting from 7 May.
