On the Stromboli, raised 290 meters above sea level, the share reachable by hikers without the help of volcanological guides: however, it will not be possible, for safety reasons, access the volcano through the “Nature” path. The mayor of Lipari, Riccardo Gullo, ordered him with amendment to his ordinance last August 14th.
The hikers will therefore be able to climb Stromboli, without the help of guides, up to an altitude of 290 meters above sea level (before it was at 100), through the “parish priest road” and the “Mulattiera Salvatore di Losa”. The share unchanged, up to 400 meters, reachable with authorized guides.
