Shooting this morning near the public buildings in via Cerasolo, in Lamezia Terme. An argument between citizens would in fact have degenerated with the explosion of several gunshots. Two people of the Roma ethnic group were injured and were transported to hospital for treatment. The police intervened on site and started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident.
The perpetrator of the shooting has turned himself in
The person (GF 53 years old, building contractor) turned himself in and today around midday he grabbed and injured 2 men of the Roma ethnic group in Lamezia in the Sambiase district. Accompanied by his defender, the lawyer Renzo Andricciola, he intended to make spontaneous statements. Now his position is being examined by the magistrate. Meanwhile, the Carabinieri of the Lamezia Terme Company, together with those of the local Sambiase barracks who promptly intervened, are proceeding with the investigations to ascertain and verify the facts.
