The 2024 edition of the ATP Finals, the last major event of the season, kicks off today, Sunday 9 November, in Turin. The Inalpi Arena will host an opening full of stars and blue.
The curtain rises at 2pm with Carlos Alcaraz, world number 2, who will face Alex De Minaur in the Jimmy Connors group. In the evening, at 8.30pm, it will be Alexander Zverev’s turn against Ben Shelton for the Bjorn Borg group. In the middle, at 6pm, there will be room for the doubles with the debut of the Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, opposed to the British Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool.
Monday in blue hues
The wait is all for the historic double on Monday 10 November. At 2pm, Lorenzo Musetti, who replaced Novak Djokovic, will make his debut at the ATP Finals, facing the American Taylor Fritz. In the evening, at 8.30pm, it will be the turn of Jannik Sinner, reigning champion, to challenge the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in his first match of the tournament.
