This morning the 350 thousand euro guarantee relating to the 2024/25 season was collected by Lega Pro, deposited at the time of registration by the previous ownership, which effectively “frees” Messina federally.

This step, awaited for weeks, will in fact allow Racing City Group to obtain affiliation with the FIGC in place of the old company, after covering the remaining sports debt which will now amount to 290 thousand euros (between unpaid salaries and other). A figure that will probably be insured with a money transfer and not through a new guarantee deposit, a choice made to speed up the process, given that it is a NewCo that will take over from Lnd. However, it remains to be seen what will happen to the approximately 80 thousand euros of credits that should be in the Federation, that is, whether they will be transferred to the new ownership or used by the curatorship.

Subsequently, the definitive signature must also be carried out before the notary who will also transfer the business complex of the company in liquidation to the “new” Acr, also causing the provisional exercise which had been extended until 10 December to cease. Important news also in terms of the transfer market, which will reopen its doors for amateurs on December 1st.

We will also talk about this today on “Antenna Giallorossa”, broadcast on RTP from 3.15pm, with guests the president Justin Davis and the deputy Morris Pagniello.
