THE Carabinieri of the Melicucco station have completed a series of activities aimed at the prevention of crimes and the contrast of the illicit conduct that were creating social alarm among the citizens who, through numerous reports, complained of noises, cackles and incivile behaviors of groups of young people in the evening hours, a situation that had generated a growing discontent and discomfort. The intervention made it possible to identify and denounce nine subjects for public quiet disorderputting an end to a condition that has been afflicting the inhabited center for weeks.
During the same control activities, a young man was stopped at the helm of his car and found in possession of a metal tirapagni: the improper weapon was seized and the driver reported. In another circumstance, a foreign citizen was surprised with a kitchen knife brought without any justified reason. Also in this case, seizure and complaint was proceeded.
Overall, the activity also led to 37 disputes regarding the highway code: among these, seven complaints for driving in a state of intoxication, numerous licensed licenses and administrative seizures of vehicles, for a total amount of about 15 thousand euros of penalties.
