Since the beginning of the year, the local police of Catanzaro have removed over one hundred carcasses of cars abandoned on public land. The control activity continued in recent days, in particular in the neighborhoods to the south of the city, where the agents of the Environmental Police unit, directed by Colonel Salvatore Tarantino, intervened to free the streets from the clutter of fifteen vehicles in a clear state of abandonment. An operation that contributes to restoring decorum and safety to urban areas, as part of the activities that the local police carry out daily in the area in terms of environmental protection.

“The municipal administration – highlights Mayor Fiorita – continues to do its part, through the constant supervision of the traffic police, to try to preserve order and cleanliness, especially in the neighborhoods where there are, unfortunately, frequent cases of public spaces occupied irregularly by vehicles that have been out of use for a long time. This is illegal behavior for which violators are punishable with administrative and criminal sanctions. My appeal to the citizens is always loud and clear: respecting the rules of civil life is essential if you want to share an orderly and dignified.”
