«The two terminals are almost overbooked». Simply put, there is no space. The president of the Port System Authority of the Southern Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas, Paolo Piacenza, is dry and resolute: «Other areas are needed and we have them but unfortunately we are still at the mercy of a dispute with the former Corap for the former Enel areas». A paradox that has lasted for years and that Piacenza himself wanted to underline during the work of the “Visioni Collettive” festival in San Ferdinando. A manager who found himself faced with a situation that had lasted for years but that no one ever wanted to resolve and which ended up in court. In recent months, mediation was attempted to close the case but now time is tight: the port needs more space and we need to free it up immediately.
