The enchantment of the colours, sounds and scents of tradition in the story of some of the most famous Nativities created in Messina and its province – the living nativity scenes of Curcuraci, Castanea and Trappitello – and the magic of a farmhouse, that of Massa San Nicola , transformed into the exclusive Santa Claus village. An emotional story broadcast in the special that RTP will propose with the voices and faces of the protagonists who will animate the various scenes: it starts today at 3.15pm (repeated tonight at 11.20pm, tomorrow at 3.40pm, Sunday at 11.20pm, Monday at 3.15pm and Tuesday at 4pm) with the Santa Claus Village of Massa San Nicola inaugurated yesterday evening, which will be open to visitors until Sunday 22nd from 6pm to 9pm. The theme of this second edition is “The Little Prince in Santa Claus’ planet”: an enchanted world of lights, colors and sounds, with fairies and elves in every corner of the village ready to accompany visitors to discover the planets of the Little Prince, who in the village of Santa Claus – Saint Nicholas precisely – will discover the grotto of the Nativity, the place where “the essential is invisible to the eyes”.
Among the most significant attractions, the live puppet show set up in the ancient church of the Madonna della Scala, the garden of 5 thousand crocheted roses, the ancient press used for extracting alcohol from citrus fruits and the social oven where Hot bread will be baked every evening. A great team effort to which all the inhabitants of the Masse and some neighboring villages contributed, under the wise direction of the parish priest Don Giuseppe Giunti. For the occasion, a large car park has been set up 200 meters from the entrance. The specials will continue with the living nativity scenes of Curcuraci broadcast on Christmas Day at 3.15pm (the nativity scene will be open to visitors on 25,26, 28 December, 1,2, 5, 6 January 2025 from 6pm to 8pm).
