The Municipality of Gioia Tauro, putting an end to a situation of precariousness and uncertainty for 12 families, defined the administrative procedure to proceed with the permanent stabilization of the workers employed with law 31.
The city council has in fact decided to join the expression of interest open by the Calabria Region specifically for Gioia Tauro, who remained the only local authority, among those with the possibility of doing it, not to have stabilized this category of workers.
It is the mayor Simona Scarcella to specify the details of the administrative procedure adopted: “We inherited a particularly painful situation for these families and workers – the exponent of Forza Italia begins -. In fact, shamefully, the Municipality of Gioia Tauro had remained the only one not to stabilize the workers of Law 31. These people experienced a real nightmare, between promises never kept and illusions fueled only during the election campaigns “.
