The Soriano Calabro Museum Center participates in the 27th edition of the Mediterranean Archaeological Tourism Exchange (BMTA), scheduled in Paestum from 30 October to 2 November 2025, one of the most prestigious events dedicated to the valorisation of the cultural and archaeological heritage of the Mediterranean.
Representing the Museum Center is the director Mariangela Preta, present in the exhibition space of the Calabria Region, committed to the promotion, valorisation and dissemination of the rich historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Soriano Calabro, the heart of the Vibo hinterland and a place of great importance for the monastic and artistic history of Calabria.
Particularly evocative is given by the setting up of the stand of the Calabria Region, which welcomes visitors with an imposing image of the architectural complex of San Domenico di Soriano, an identity symbol and spiritual and cultural center of reference for the territory.
The presence of the Soriano Museum Center at the BMTA represents an important opportunity for meeting and discussion with institutions, sector operators and specialized public, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of the Calabrian museum and monumental heritage at a national and international level, fully inserting it into the broader panorama of Mediterranean cultural and archaeological tourism.
