He started tonight, with the ribbon cutting at 18.30, it Street Fish Village of Capo Peloroone of the most anticipated summer events by the Messina and beyond. After the last touches continued until this morning, the former Seaflight came to life by turning into an open -air taste village, overlooking the Strait, which will remain open every evening until 1 at night from today until Sunday 29 June.
Absolute protagonists are street food, music and the show, with a now tested formula that follows that of the autumn editions in Piazza Cairoli. Summer, however, adds an extra ingredient: the local fish, at the center of many of the gastronomic proposals. Visitors will be able to buy the specialties through tokens, from this year made of plastic recycled from the sea – a sustainable novelty that celebrates the naturalistic value of Capo Peloro, recently awarded the Blue Flag.
Inside the Village there are 27 Points of taste, with a varied offer that ranges from sweet to salty dessert, including fish dishes, alternatives for all tastes and proposals gluten free designed for celiacs.
Not only Food: Street Fish is also confirmed as a spectacular event, with street artists from all over Sicily, live bands and DJ sets that will animate the evenings until late at night. To close the four days will be, on Sunday, the awarding of the three Street Fooders and the three specialties most appreciated by the public, together with some special prizes.
