Three days of sport, information and debate. Today the Lucan stage of the Sportintour 2025 begins, scheduled from 13 to 15 June in Nova Siri. And after the success of last year, the US ACLI returns to Basilicata by presenting the weekend at the gates at the Council Chamber of the Palazzo della Provincia di Matera in the presence of the President of the Province, Francesco Mancini, the National President US ACLI, Damiano Lembo and the vice -presidents Piero Demetri and Antonio Meola, the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Sport of Nova Siri, Vincenza Maria Pia Stigliano, of the director of the CTM, Vincenzo Tito, Basilicata US ACLI, Vincenzo Di Sanzo, of the provincial president of Matera dell’Us Acli, Carmelo Mennone, and of the Coni representative, Rosario Braia.
Record numbers also presented with a real invasion of presences in Nova Siri because 1500 athletes in the race will be, over 70 ASD involved and from 8 different regions. Three days with sports practice and its diffusion in the center also through the projects of the entity such as “We are sports”, financed by sport and health and with the aim of promoting sports practice between inactive and fragile people, and then placing the emphasis on topics such as gender equality. All this focusing on southern Italy with 12 provinces and 6 regions involved (Sicily, Basilicata, Calabria, Puglia, Campania and Sardinia). The conference then ended with the delivery of the celebratory plates by the US Acli presidency to the speakers.
