Transfer of the Canadair base from Lamezia to Crotone increasingly “uncertain”? This was confirmed by Francesco Carito, deputy secretary of the Democratic Party of Lamezia Terme, who returns to the topic that has heated up the citizen and political debate in the city over the past year and up until the electoral campaign of the last Lamezia administrative elections. An official confirmation on the transfer had already arrived from Sacal in February – and, it must be said, the decision was criticized by many who at the time were in opposition in the city council and today are in the majority – but the topic has become current again after sentence 1638/2025 of the Regional Administrative Court of Calabria – of last 13 October – which canceled the tender relating to the “Cis Volare” project due to irregularities in the documentation of the professionals in charge.
