After the great success of the first appointments, the journey of “The valleys of myth and music – the journey between the harmonies and the flavors of the territory” continues, the project promoted by the Gal Taormina Peloritani – Terre dei Miti and the beauty that crosses 29 municipalities of the Ionian, Tyrrhenian and Peloritan area, with the aim of enhancing the cultural, agri -food and tourist identity of the territory.
Today, Saturday 19 July, it will be the turn of Furci Siculoby appointment in Piazza Sacro Cuore at 20.00. The evening includes a rich program dedicated to popular music, showcooking and the promotion of local products. The Beddi group will go up on stage, while the tastes of taste will propose tastings based on local excellence.
Following, Thursday 24 July, will be the Municipality of Sant’Alessio Siculo to host the event. A new evening of culture and flavors, with the performance of the “Amara Orange” group. Also in Sant’Alessio Siculo space for tastings and showcooking, the undisputed protagonists of this identity tour. “The valleys of myth and music are confirmed a project capable of combining promotion of the territory, enhancement of our roots and active involvement of the communities”, says the president of the Gal Taormina Peloritani Antonio Bonfiglio.
“Each stage becomes an opportunity to tell and rediscover our land through its dishes, its music, its culture”, adds the director of the Gal Beatrice Briguglio.
Satisfaction also by the mayors of Furci Siculo Matteo Francilia and Sant’Alessio Siculo Domenico Aliberti, who declare: “We are happy to welcome this event that enhances our traditions and offers a great opportunity to promote the territory, also in a tourist and experiential key”.
