A live greatest hits to celebrate 25 years of career of an extraordinary artist who also becomes the best response to the stupidity of social media and the haters who targeted him at the beginning of the tour. Tiziano Ferro chooses Messina and the “Franco Scoglio” stadium to close his tour, the one that allowed him to embrace his audience again after three difficult years. “Good evening Messina, good evening Sicily – he says at the beginning – This is the right place to end the tour. Everything is here. This was the first sold out date, guys that is, but what more can I tell you”. And he did it very well: polished and with that talent that saw him travel through the emotions experienced from 2001 onwards, from that Xdono that started a love story that has continued until today. A beautiful concert – let’s say it straight away – in which the alternation between ballad and uptempo did not reveal any moments of tiredness from start to finish and which told of its many musical souls, from early r’n’b to pop up to the more urban sound of the latest project.
At the center of everything are the songs, or rather, the hits for two hours of music and just under 30 songs to retrace Tiziano’s career together which begins with “Sono un grande”, the title track of his latest album. “We swallowed concrete before sleeping and, in fear of being alone, we didn’t say a word.” He tells about himself and his story, which becomes everyone’s story. We continue in the wake of his latest production with “Cuore broken” and “Fingo&spingo”, and then veer towards his Ithaca with “I accept miracles”, very heartfelt and emotional, and with “La differentia tra me e te”, until his recording debut first with “L’olimpiade”. A few weeks later Max Pezzali history repeats itself: it’s a real karaoke under the sky of the Strait. The series with “The greatest gift” and “Ti will take a photo”, followed by “Sere nere”, “I don’t know how to explain it”, “Back”, “The last night in the world” and “Love is a simple thing” is confirmation that concerts like this, where everyone knows the songs and sings them, can only make them great artists: because to make stages you have to write songs that remain over time. Tiziano Ferro is not an artist who defends himself from emotion, and the public knows it. He sings through his pain and the sincerity is almost disheartening. There and back with smiles and tears.
On the stage, three large mega screens that stretch over 60 meters long and 12 meters high and a 24 meter long platform that allows Tiziano to go and embrace his audience, an embrace that Ferro has been waiting for since his last tour in 2023. While accompanying the singer-songwriter on this journey is the band led by Luca Scarpa (musical director of the show) composed of Gary Novak on drums, Tim Lefebvre on bass, Corey Sanchez on guitar, Davide Tagliapietra on guitar, Gianluca Ballarin on keyboards and Alessandro Orefice on piano.
Lighter pieces arrive such as “The sun exists for everyone” and “Balla per me”, before rediscovering the traditional mood with “Ed ero contentissimo”, passing through “We could return” and “Il consolation” reinterpreted in an acoustic key. Among the new arrangements proposed in this 2026 tour, “Stop! Forget” and “Incanto”. The descent begins with “E outside is dark” and “La fine”, and then leaves the scene to the rhythm of “E Raffaella è mia”, the unique homage to Carrà, and then the grand finale with “Per dirti ciao”, “Rosso Relativo” and “Lo Stadio”. The closing with “XDono” is Tiziano Ferro in the mirror, in a concert that reiterates that “in case of danger only those who know how to fly well are saved, so if you exclude aviators, falcons, clouds, planes, eagles and angels, you remain”. And Titian remains Titian. And it was “beautiful, because joy and pain taste the same with you.”
