Tragic accident this morning in Bisignano. On the expressway that crosses the provincial road for Luzzi, in the direction of the Bisignano sports field. For reasons yet to be ascertained, there was a collision involving a Ford Fiesta, a Panda and a scooter. Andrea Rago, a 28-year-old from Luzzi, lost his life in the crash. The young man had first been transferred in desperate conditions, by air ambulance, to Cosenza. But despite the doctors’ attempts, the 28-year-old died. At the scene of the accident, carabinieri, firefighters, 118 ambulances. The three occupants of the cars were not seriously injured: the couple on board the Panda and the driver of the Ford. They were treated at the scene and in hospital. From what emerged, their lives were not in danger. The carabinieri of the Bisignano station are carrying out investigations to clarify the exact dynamics of the accident.
