A tragic fatality, which occurred in a few moments and shocked the local community. A 49-year-old woman, Sandra Manes, died after being hit by her own car.
It happened yesterday afternoon, in Fuscaldo in the area near the cemetery on the road that leads from the Marina to the Laghicello area. The woman would have lost her life after ending up under her car and violently slammed against the gate. An almost mechanical gesture that she must have repeated who knows how many times but which due to a distraction was fatal. From what we learned, Sandra Manes had gone to assist a relative. According to initial reconstructions, the vehicle would have been left without the handbrake correctly engaged and would have suddenly started moving, overwhelming the owner who was evidently intent on opening the gate. The accident happened in a few moments, without giving the woman time to save herself.
