Thanks to goals by Sudakov in the 30th minute of the first half and by Karavaev in the 51st minute, the national team led by Sergiy Rebrov moved to second place in the table, with 10 points after six games.
England are leading with 13 points (5 games), while Italy, which plays Malta this evening, is currently on seven points after four matches played. After today’s defeat, Macedonia remains at seven after six matches while Malta has lost all five matches.
