New Russian attack on Kiev, during the night, with missiles and drones. This was reported by the Ukrainian agency RBC, which speaks of a series of powerful explosions that shook the city.

Initially the capital was hit by several groups of drones. Subsequently, ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region were added. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, calls to doctors were reported in the Dniprovskyi and Desnianskyi districts. At the same time, the Kiev City Military Administration reported possible damage to several residential high-rise buildings and an educational institution in the Dniprovskyi district.

Missile and drone attacks were also reported in Kharkiv, in northeastern Ukraine, according to Mayor Igor Terekhov, quoted by the Ukrainian RBC agency. The governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region reported that this area is also under attack, with air defense in action in the nearby Zaporizhzhia region. At dawn, the city was repeatedly hit by ballistic missiles. Rocket explosions continued for several hours. “The shelling of Kharkiv has been going on for more than three hours,” said Terekhov, who said the Russians were targeting energy infrastructure. The goal is to cause as much damage as possible and leave the city without heating in the middle of winter. The bombings forced the pipes to be emptied, leaving 820 homes without heating.
