An oil tanker went up in flames in the Russian port of Tuapse on the Black Sea coast following a Ukrainian drone attack. The agency reports it Ukrinformciting local sources.
Russia reportedly confirmed the attack, which caused a fire in port infrastructure. The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory announced on Telegram that debris from a drone hit an oil tanker and an oil terminal, causing flames on board the ship.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, the crew of the tanker was evacuated safely. The fragments of the drone also damaged a residential building in the nearby village of Sosnovy and partially damaged the local train station.
The Russian authorities have not released information on any victims or injuries, while rescue services are still working to put out the fire and make the port area safe.
