Jannik Sinner qualified for the third round of the US Open, the last Slam season. The South Tyrolean beat Australian Alexei Popyrin in three sets with a score of 6-3 6-2 6-2 in just over two hours of play. In the third round Sinner will face the Canadian Shapovalov.
